Christian Phelps

Phelps is no stranger to hard work or to winning; Phelps spent the previous four years under Ben McCollum as a Student Assistant for Northwest Missouri State Mens Basketball and the last season as Graduate Assistant. During his time as a student/graduate coach, the Bearcats had an overall record of 127-31, which included Five 20+ win seasons, Four MIAA regular season titles, Two MIAA Tournament title, Four Sweet Sixteen appearances, one Elite Eight Appearance, and one National Championship. During that time, Phelps was able to do skill development with the Bearcat Basketball players that included the physical technical and mental side of basketball development. Phelps also coached at summer camps that included Mizzou, Creighton University, Wisconsin University, The Ohio State University, Iowa State University, and Snow Valley Basketball School in Iowa.

Phelps is from Lone Jack, Mo., and received his degree in Physical Education with a minor in Sport Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University. Phelps is currently pursuing a Athletic Administration degree for his graduate program.

Nic Mattson

Nic is a graduate of Maryville High School and Northwest Missouri State University. He has coached basketball at Maryville High School for the past 7 season. He has worked numerous player development camps at Iowa State, Creighton, Wisconsin and other college programs.
